About
Based between Turkey and Northern Cyprus, impressionist painter Mariia Raskin channels the sun‑drenched moods of the Mediterranean into bold, palette‑knife textures.
Trained in applied arts and icon painting, she turned to contemporary work in 2019, layering acrylics into vibrant seascapes and landscapes that radiate quiet joy. Her award‑winning canvases now hang in the Cyprus Museum of Modern Art and travel to exhibitions across Europe and the US.

Studio
My creative studio is a cozy, compact space spread across different corners of our home. I paint on canvas in a small bedroom nook with my easel, paint table, and daylight lamp: everything is within arm’s reach. Sketches and paper works happen at my desk in the office, while completed paintings are carefully stored in the living room.
